April designated as 911 education month

Eight national organizations have designated April as “National 911 Education Month.” The U.S. House of Representatives has recognized the effort as well, with a pending resolution in the Senate. Supporting organizations include the E911 Institute; APCO; NENA; 911 For Kids; CTIA; the COMCARE Alliance; and the 911 Industry Alliance.
