BitWave names CEO

Lowell, Mass.-based BitWave Semiconductor, a fabless semiconductor company, named Michael Farese as its president and chief executive officer. Farese was most recently with Palm, where he led the development of Treo smartphones, including the Treo 700 and Treo 750.
