Dallas deploys CAD system

Aug 30, 2007 1:44 PM

San Diego-based TriTech Software Systems has implemented its VisiCAD Command, multi-million dollar computer-aided dispatch (CAD) system for city of Dallas, the company announced. The system enables the city’s three command centers, Dallas 911, Dallas Police and Dallas Fire and Rescue, to handle multi-agency, multi-jurisdiction joint responses to emergency and non-emergency calls. According to the company, each agency’s mobile resources can be jointly coordinated on an interoperable level with the command centers that handle the city’s 4000 daily calls.
