BALTIMORE--Aeroflex announced this week during the Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials annual conference a new option for its 3900 series of radio test systems that supports P25 Trunking in the VHF, UHF, 700 MHz and 800 MHz bands. Features include the ability to simultaneously generate a control channel and traffic channel with duplex offset capability to go from 1 MHz to 2.7 GHz. In addition, the new trunking option lets P25 end users quickly establish pre-defined setups for quick recall when testing large numbers of radios, the company said.
