Aeroflex unveils digital-radio test set

Wichita, Kan.-based Aeroflex launched an entry-level version of its 6113 Digital Radio Test Set used for testing mobile base stations. The test set, targeted primarily at emerging markets, is being offered with one A-bis interface that transports signaling protocols, as well as compressed voice and bit-error-rate measurements, encryption, support for two of the four GSM frequency bands and software support. The entry-level Aeroflex 6113 Digital Radio Test Set can be upgraded to a full system, according to the company.
