Arcadian, FreeWave now offer communications platform for utilities

Arcadian Networks has entered into a partnership with FreeWave Technologies, through which Arcadian will market, sell and distribute FreeWave’s 700 MHz products to electric utilities and oil and gas companies. As a result of the collaboration, such companies now can incorporate ISM band radio technology and wireless data solutions on a 700 MHz private, licensed communication platform, the companies said.
