Astron expands HESA capabilities

Astron Wireless Technology’s HESA (high efficiency, sensitivity, accuracy) direction-finding antenna system now has the capability to operate over a range from 2 MHz to 18 GHz for all applications, where previously it ran only from 2MHz to 3 GHz. The system is used by the military for RF surveillance, monitoring and jamming applications, and configures multiple antenna elements in a small form factor, the company said.
