AtHoc alerts integrated into Cisco platform

Apr 3, 2008 2:28 PM, - MRT

AtHoc’s IWSAlerts will be included as part of the new Cisco Open Platform for Safety and Security, a secure, converged IP infrastructure that provides interoperability using open standards. The alerts manage the mass notification process, from alert activation to recipient tracking and reporting. According to the company, the alerts will leverage the IP-network and Cisco infrastructure to deliver alerts to personnel via computer desktops, mobile devices, telephones, public address systems and IP-enabled notification devices.
