Azalea Networks to support wireless project for 2008 Olympics

Azalea Networks, a wireless-mesh broadband equipment and technology provider, was selected by CECT-Chinacomm as the primary equipment supplier for the Wireless Beijing project that will provide wireless connectivity for the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Phase I of the project will include installation of 800 to 1000 wireless mesh routers over 30 miles in the city’s central business district, financial street and Olympics areas, according to the company.
