Assistant labor secretary to speak at NATE conference

Edwin G. Foulke, Jr., the assistant secretary of the Department of Labor’s occupational safety and health agency, will speak at the National Association of Tower Erectors annual conference held Fed. 12-15, 2007, in Nashville, Tenn. Foulke will discuss the newly created NATE and OSHA national partnership signed on Nov. 8, 2006. The partnership is a cooperative effort to improve tower safety through tower climbing training, additional safety and health programs and the presence of what NATE calls a “competent person on tower sites.”
