Private-public partnership focuses on secure wireless communications

San Diego-based Nortel Government Solutions will work with the U.S. Navy’s Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, or SPAWAR, to create a wireless security architecture for military use under a cooperative research and development agreement. The agreement includes the establishment of a lab at the SPAWAR Systems Center in San Diego that will focus on designing a secure, multi-spectrum wireless network for mobile voice and data communications.
