C4i installs SwitchplusIP in Aussie Command Centers

Jun 2, 2011 11:54 AM

C4i’s SwitchplusIP products are deployed throughout the world, including at aviation rescue and firefighting services down under. Currently, it is part of the new fire control center being rolled out to all of Airservices Australia's 21 aviation rescue and firefighting stations at a cost of $12 million.

The Fire Control Centre (FCC) project replaces existing fire control systems with a modern, fully integrated, digital system for integrated communications, incident, dispatch, and resource management across Airservices fire station.  An operational training program also has been developed, including online interactive training and hands-on training using the training simulator. The project is expected to be completed by December.
