CAD system deployed by Lyons, Ill., public-safety agencies

The Lyons, Ill., police and fire departments installed Spillman Technologies’ Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) module, Mobile Records module and other products. The CAD software tracks calls in real time and monitors the status of each police unit. The Mobile Records software lets field officers working on laptop computers query the department’s database for names, vehicles and other information, according to the company.
