Modem/router combo unveiled

CalAmp Corp. introduced the ViPR wireless IP router and modem that enables wireless Ethernet connectivity over licensed spectrum in VHF or UHF frequencies for machine-to-machine communications. The product includes a web-based interface and remote-configuration capabilities, according to the company.
