Comtech subsidiary receives $17.7 million Army order

Comtech Telecommunications Corp.’s Maryland-based subsidiary, Comtech Mobile Datacom, received orders totaling $17.7 million under its contract with the U.S. Army Communications Electronics Command. The company will provide mobile satellite transceivers, satellite bandwidth, satellite-network operations, engineering services and program management to support the Force XXI Battle Command Brigade and Below – Blue Force Tracking program, a battle command real-time situational awareness and control system. Work will be completed by June 30, 2008, according to the company.
