Comtech lands DOD contract

Comtech Telecommunications’ subsidiary, Comtech EF Data Corp., received a $1.2 million order from the U.S. Department of Defense for satellite communications infrastructure equipment, including its turboIP-45 Performance Enhancement Proxy, the SLM-5650 Satellite Modem and the Vipersat Management System. The equipment will be deployed to support a new, managed satellite-based communications network.
