Electric co-op installs tracking system

Corinth, Texas-based energy distribution cooperative CoServ Electric will install Telargo’s fleet-management solution in its electric- and gas-service vehicles. The solution lets customers track mobile assets by combining global positioning system and digital mapping technology with management software. It will be used for workforce management and preventative maintenance using on-board diagnostic codes that are accessible through the company’s Web-based interface, according to the company.
