Cross-band public-safety platform launched

Burnaby, British Columbia-based Spectrum Signal Processing by Vecima, a provider of software defined radio (SDR) technology, announced the availability of its flexComm public-safety cross band communications platform, an integrated wireless communications subsystem for first-responder communication services. The platform provides RF to Ethernet connectivity by integrating a cross-band RF transceiver with an SDR-based signal processing subsystem, according to the company.
