ERF Wireless purchases Windstream affiliate

Wireless network provider for the banking industry ERF Wireless recently acquired the wireless broadband assets—including approximately 59 towers—and operations of Windstream Corp. affiliate Southwest Enhanced Network Services. Southwest Enhanced Network Services, which operated under the moniker “The Door to the Internet,” has a footprint covering 29,000 square miles near Lubbock, Texas, and serves about 400,000 businesses and residents.
