HP launches iPAQ 500

Hewlett-Packard launched the iPAQ 500 series smartphone that features voice over IP, or VoIP, capabilities. It is supported by the Windows Mobile 6 operating system and has built-in Wi-Fi, GSM/EDGE and Bluetooth wireless technologies. It also offers 20 voice commands for hands-free operation that lets users respond to an e-mail by dictating and sending a voice response, according to the company.
