Michigan hospital deploys WLAN

Troy, Mich.-based CareTech Solutions announced that it has implemented a campus-wide wireless local area network, or WLAN, at the Garden City Hospital located in Garden City, Mich. The WLAN will provide Internet access to patients and visitors. It also will offer physicians wireless connectivity and remote access to patient data, according to the company.
