Truckers can wirelessly weigh vehicles

Massload Technologies now offers a wireless version of its Ultraslim Weighpads, used for weighing commercial truckers’ loads. The 0.7-inch-thick portable pad has 20 independent micro-load cells in each pad, can support up to eight channels and has a battery life of up to 200 operating hours. It can be attached to a display system using a Palm handheld with Massload wireless desktop software or an industry standard readout to obtain readings, according to the company.
