Third-generation WLAN promises anywhere communications

NEC Unified Solutions unveiled the Univerge Assured Mobility solution. The solution uses the company’s wireless optimized architecture, a third-generation WLAN, that incorporates fixed-mobile convergence and application integration so mobile workers can access secure communications, according to the company.
