Modem system built for remote environments

Ottawa, Ontario-based Spectrum Signal Processing unveiled its flexComm sensor data-link modem system. It consists of a software-defined, radio transceiver subsystem and a remote-sensor transceiver subsystem, and was built for rugged, low-power, unmanned underwater and surface vehicles, the company said.
