HYT and Marketronics merge

Sunrise, Fla.-based HYT, a manufacturing of two-way radio systems, and Marketronics Corp., the distributor of wireless products to Latin America announced the merger of their two companies. Effective Aug. 13, 2007, HYT North America and Marketronics Corporation will form HYT America. Francisco Noyola, former President and CEO of Marketronics Corp., will serve as president and CEO of HYT America. Noyola said in a statement that “[t]he combination of Marketronics established presence, reputation and relationships coupled with HYT's brand and full portfolio of two way radio solutions will leverage the strengths of both companies, providing better service to our customers in both North and Latin America.”
