Global iDEN network hits 10 million non-U.S. subscribers

Motorola Solutions’ integrated Digital Enhanced Network solution (iDEN) has reached 10 million subscribers outside the United States. Motorola's proprietary iDEN technology is currently in operation with more than 30 network operators in 23 countries worldwide.

iDEN combines traditional mobile telephony with state-of-the-art PTT for the enterprise market. Motorola's continued investment in iDEN has evolved the technology to meet the demands of the worldwide PTT users today and into the future.
