Children’s hospital deploys RFID

The Heart Center at the Columbus Children’s Hospital will implement Mobile Aspects' radio frequency identification, or RFID, iRISupply inventory management system to store, track and manage congenital heart-care devices and supplies. The system uses an RFID-tracking architecture to automate charge capture, inventory management, device expiration management and other operational processes, according to the company.
