Hawaiian earthquake doesn’t shake police communications

All police radio and voice communications were routed over Catalyst Communications Technologies’ system during the Oct. 15 Hawaiian earthquake. The Honolulu Police Department was upgrading its main dispatch center at the time the earthquake hit and operated using the company’s RCoIP alternate dispatch equipment.
