Intermec donates equipment to university

Intermec recently announced it had donated ruggedized mobile computers and portable radio frequency identification, or RFID, readers to the University of Arkansas’ RFID Research Center, which is examining the business and societal effects of RFID, and best practices for using the technology in the supply chain. The center features an 8000-square-foot laboratory that replicates a production warehouse.
