West Coast county invests in emergency messaging gear

Semotus Solutions’ HipLinkXS will be used by Stanislaus County, Calif., for emergency notification to first responders, the public, civic leaders and area businesses during emergency situations. According to the company, HipLinkXS is a wireless text and voice messaging system that will facilitate real-time, emergency-notification messages to wireless devices used by a specified group or an agency.
