AirLink announces new product suite

Fixed- and mobile-wireless data systems provider AirLink Communications announced the X Platform, its next-generation, rugged wireless communications and networking product suite. The first two products are the Raven X and the PinPoint X. Both devices are certified as intrinsically safe fur use in hazardous environments, the company said. The Raven has serial and Ethernet interfaces, while the PinPoint has peripheral connections— including serial, Ethernet and USB—as well as a 16-channel GPS receiver. It also meets military standards for vibration, shock, drop, high and low temperature and humidity, according to AirLink.
