Nortel integrates sensor networking appliances

Blue Vector Systems’ sensor networking appliances will be included in Nortel’s next-generation municipal wireless solutions, which will provide automated meter reading, digital video surveillance, asset tracking, fleet monitoring and video conferencing services. The appliances will control a variety of sensors, such as those used for RFID, GPS and video cameras, according to the company.
