Dec 29, 2006 12:01 PM

Radio frequency identification, or RFID, network infrastructure provider Reva systems recently announced that its Tag Acquisition Product passed EPCglobal compliance testing for application-level events, or ALE, certification.

The ALE protocol provides a software standard for collecting and filtering RFID tag data before presenting it to applications, the company said. The testing was conducted at Baltimore-based MET Laboratories, which is the official test lab for EPCglobal’s hardware certification program.
