Symbol launches ruggedized, wearable mobile computer

Symbol Technologies introduced the WT4000, a wearable mobile-computer and scanner system for what the company calls “extreme environments.” It features an IP-54 sealing rating for dust- and splash-resistance and can withstand 4-foot drops onto a concrete floor, according to Symbol.
