Telephonics to create encryption device for U.S. Army

Telephonics received an $11 million contract from the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command to develop a Windtalker Encryption Device, compatible with the company’s TruLink Wireless Intercommunication System wireless hands-free system. The encryption device will provide Type 1 encrypted, secure wireless intercommunication and will be certified by the National Security Agency, according to the company.
