General Dynamics purchases encryption modules

General Dynamics C4 Systems has ordered wireless backhaul solutions provider Ceragon Networks’ FibeAir 1500P advanced encryption standard (AES) modules for voice and data transmissions across wireless broadband networks. The modules will be integrated into General Dynamics' Theater Deployable Communication and ReadySet communication systems. The contract is valued at $7 million and will be completed in Q2 2007, according to the company.
