Laird introduces microwave board-level shield

Laird Technologies introduced its microwave board-level shield product for high-frequency applications over 6 GHz. The shield consists of a microwave absorber with board-level shielding and will absorb or suppress high-frequency interference. It is used in any device that requires HR shielding, which includes electronics implemented into base stations or a wireless handheld computer, said company spokesperson Michele Kinman. The cost ranges from 9 cents to $3.
