MSV announces mutual-aid talkgroups

Reston, Va.-based Mobile Satellite Ventures will operate two Gulf States Mutual Aid Radio Talkgroups on its satellite communications network. The Louisiana Governor’s Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness will manage the groups so emergency-responders and public-safety officials in Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas can have interoperable communications, according to the company.
