NENA posts emergency call processing standard

The National Emergency Number Association announced that the draft version of its Emergency Call Processing Protocol Operations Standard is posted online for public review. The standard provides 911 centers with a framework for defining emergency call-protocol requirements and recommendations for both daily operations and major events. Comments can be sent to opsdocreview1@nena.org no later than April 25, 2008.
