NENA names CEO

Brian Fontes has joined the National Emergency Number Association (NENA) as chief executive officer. Before joining NENA, Fontes was vice president for federal relations for AT&T Services, and prior to that he was vice president for federal relations for Cingular Wireless. He also has served as the senior vice president for policy and administration at the Cellular Telecommunications & Internet Association (CTIA), as chief of staff for the Federal Communications Commission and as senior advisor to FCC Commissioner James H. Quello.
