NetMotion, Sierra Wireless partner in the field

Productivity and management software manufacturer NetMotion Wireless and M2M provider Sierra Wireless have formalized a collaboration that already has delivered services to Con Edison, Dominion Resources, Philadelphia Gas Works, Kansas City Power & Light, Miami Dade County, and Orange County California.
The combined Sierra Wireless and NetMotion Wireless solutions optimize mobile cellular session persistence and continuity between coverage areas and locations with poor reception. This enables smooth hand-offs between 3G cellular, 802.11 Wi-Fi and private radio networks, providing field personnel with seamless roaming. The security features incorporated in the Sierra Wireless products and software, and NetMotion Wireless Mobility XE, simplify and unify security compliance with state and federal mandates.
