Virtual private network deployed by Louisiana police force

St. James Parish in Louisiana has deployed NetMotion’s Mobile virtual private network solution in police officers’ patrol vehicles to enable multiple network connections across wired, wireless, Wi-Fi and a remote data connection via satellite. As part of their deployment, the parish is using the company’s policy management module that regulates the amount of network traffic flowing to and from applications, according to the company.
