Newmar power system offers small form factor, big DC output

Aug 16, 2011 2:52 PM

Newmar’s Centurion II DC power system offers functionality, flexibility and scalability in a low-profile, 3.5-inch shelf. Three power bays accept 1,000- or 2,000-watt rectifiers in 24 or 48 VDC in high reliability N+1 redundant configurations, enabling easy matching to site power requirements. The system produces up to 6 kilowatts (111 amps) DC output with a battery temperature compensation sensor for precise charging. The system includes an integrated 16-position DC circuit breaker distribution panel, two battery disconnect breakers, SNMP digital controller and a built-in low-voltage disconnect.
