NextPhase Wireless to build broadband network for California police department

Anaheim, Calif.-based NextPhase Wireless has been selected by the Irvine Police Department in Irvine, Calif., to build and support a wireless broadband network operating on the 4.9 GHz spectrum designated by the Federal Communications Commission for public-safety, emergency-management and homeland-security applications.
