Transit system invests in Intergraph public-safety system

The New Jersey Transit Corp. will deploy Intergraph’s integrated emergency incident-response, planning and reporting solutions. The new public-safety system will provide police personnel, dispatchers and emergency responders with real-time intelligence to assist them in their incident prevention and response efforts. The new system will replace a homegrown legacy system and will deliver integrated dispatch, records and mobile-field reporting capabilities, according to the company.
