Palm launches smartphone companion product

Carlsbad, Calif.-based Palm introduced the Foleo, its first smartphone companion product. It is a miniaturized laptop with a full-size keyboard and built-in Wi-Fi radio for Internet connectivity. Edits made on Foleo automatically are synchronized to the smartphone via Bluetooth wireless technology, according to the company. It offers 5 hours of battery life.
