Indiana police deploy BIO-key solution

BIO-key International announced that the Shelbyville, Ind., Police Department deployed the company’s MobileCop software, a wireless messaging and query solution. Officers using the solution have wireless access from in-car laptops to state and federal law-enforcement and motor vehicles databases. Shelbyville joins the Indiana State Police and more than 40 other municipal and county law enforcement agencies in the state currently using the system, according to the company.
