State police agencies invest in mobile data software

BIO-key International and its partners, InterAct Public Safety Systems and Independence Communications, won a contract for its MobileCop mobile data software, which now connects 22 Kentucky-based police agencies to the Law Information Network of Kentucky that is maintained by the Kentucky State Police. The project was funded through a $1.3 million Kentucky Department of Homeland Security grant.
