Polk County, Fla., invests in CAD system

Pleasanton, Calif.-based Tiburon signed a $3.1 million contract to provide an integrated public-safety system for Polk County, Fla. The system includes new computer-aided dispatch, law-enforcement records management, jail management, civil process and mobile reporting systems to support the public-safety and justice agencies that protect a population of 560,000.
