Proxim Wireless unveils base stations, subscriber units, bridges

San Jose, Calif.-based Proxim Wireless Corp. launched its Tsunami MP.11 HS line of base station units, subscriber units and bridges targeted at governments, utilities and enterprise markets. The product line meets FIPS 140-2 level 2 standards for point-to-point and point-to-multipoint products in the 5.1 to 5.95 GHz, 4.9 GHz, 2.4 GHz, and 1.8 GHz frequency bands and includes advanced AES-256 encryption technology, according to the company.
